The San Diego Turbos 14U team took 2nd place at the Ensenada Invitational 15U tournament this past weekend. The team defeated the Orioles 11-1 in their first game on Saturday. In the second game, the Turbos defeated the Cetis 74 team 8 to 2. This game was a rematch of last year’s game during the Cetis 40th anniversary celebration game between the two schools. On Sunday, the championship game matched the undefeated Turbos against the undefeated Rural De Maneadero’s baseball team. After a hard fought game featuring excellent pitching, Rural De Maneadero won 6 to 3. The Turbos would like to thank all of the players, parents and coaches from all of the participating teams.
